As you see, Headaches are the hugely common problem in today’s world. There are many different kinds of headaches, and each of those has different causes and symptoms. Luckily, some of those go away without causing any other problems. The type of a headache depends on where the pain is located, and what the pain is like. According to World Health Organization, nearly every people in the world suffer from a headache once in a lifetime. Each a single headache can last from 15 minutes to three hours. A headache may be caused by some common factors such as,
- Pain in your neck.
- Skipping meals.
- Medication side effects.
Some common types of headaches:
- Tension headaches.
A tension headache is the most common type of headaches. In case of a tension headache, you may feel aching sensation and a dull all over the head, also Tenderness or sensitivity around your neck, forehead occurs.
- Cluster headaches.
A cluster headache causes the severe burning and piercing pain. It occurs behind or around one eye or on the one side of the face at a time. It also causes swelling, redness, sweating, and flushing on the side which affected by a cluster headache.
- Migraine headaches.
Migraines pain may last for days. It can occur on the both side or on one side of your head. Peoples with Migraine headaches are sensitive to light and sound. It causes to nausea, vomiting, and blurred vision. At the first stage of a migraine or during migraines, many people suffer from “auras,” which are most often visual. It can have good or bad symptoms.
Tips to prevent a headache:
It is not necessary to take always medications for the treatment of a headache especially, if your headache is caused by tension or stress. But if your headache occurs around the eyes or on one side of your face then the treatment is necessary. There are some techniques used to reduce the headache pain like,
- Relaxation training.
- Regular exercise.
- Breathing exercise.
